The 4th GSTC Academic Symposium will be held in Phuket, Thailand, on April 21st, just before the 2026 Global Sustainable Tourism Conference. This one-day in-person symposium convenes researchers, academics, and practitioners to engage in diverse dialogues on sustainability in tourism, following the same established methodology that has guided previous editions.

Call for Papers – Abstract Submissions Now Open
We welcome original research, case studies, and theoretical contributions related (but not limited) to the following themes:
- Sustainable Hospitality
- Resilient Cities & Communities
- Carrying Capacity & Visitor Distribution Management
We also welcome abstracts that apply the GSTC Framework in empirical or conceptual research, as well as those that demonstrate how the GSTC Standards are integrated into tourism and hospitality curricula.
